Melburnians set for a Feast of Short Films
Next weekend, Melburnians will be shaking out their picnic rugs, perhaps packing a few comfy cushions, and some yummy food and drink, and heading down to Federation Square – the city’s main gathering place – for the inaugural Fedfest short film festival. In the space of a couple of hours, they’ll be treated to a smorgasbord of fifteen short films by Australian film makers, and have the chance to vote for their favourite via SMS. Heather Jarvis talks to Fedfest Director Simon Ford.

The Art of the Short Film

The film is directed by Melbourne filmmaker Angie Black, who joins Heather Jarvis to talk about the film, and the art of short film making more generally.
