Mana rules boxing at Pacific Games

Despite a lack of training facilities and boxing scholarships in Samoa and Papua New Guinea, their boxers’ campaign for gold are fired up by cultural, spiritual and inner strength referred to in the Pacific as Mana.

So while the Tahiti and New Caledonia rivalry plays out in the boxing ring and local press, Samoa and PNG are punching way above the drama.
