Carina Hoang escaped Vietnam with two of her siblings and 373 others from Saigon on a crowded wooden boat in 1979. They lived in an Indonesian jungle for a year before finally being rescued and accepted into the US as refugees.
Carina has just published a book called Boat People, documenting the extraordinary survival stories of other Vietnamese refugees.
