A cacophony of sound will erupt across Samoa as the country jumps the international dateline.

The change in time zones will means there will be no Friday this week in Samoa, and Tokelau too which is also making the change.

Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaepe Sailele Malielengaoi says there will be major benefits for Samoa cultural and business life, but especially for tourism the main stay of the economy.
