Local lad made good Christian Karembeu is one of the ambassadors for the 14th Pacific Games.
From humble beginnings on Lifou in New Caledonia he went on to win all the major titles international soccer has to offer. He’s played on a winning world cup, champions league and European Cup. Now retired as a player he is now a talent scount and works for a consortium to promote football.
