The second Papua New Guinea Human Rights Film Festival starts in Port Moresby on Wednesday.  The five day festival at the Moresby Arts Theatre  features films on a variety of human-rights focused topics, by local and international filmmakers. 

The purpose of the festival is to promote greater respect, protection and fulfillment of human rights.  Topics range from toture prevention to sexual violence against women, sorcery killings and many more; and include Celebrating Archievement – a documentary about Rwandan women.
