Song Peoples project keeps Indigenous languages aliveAudio Icon

The Song Peoples Sessions is a collaboration between traditional and contemporary Australian Indigenous musicians to support the protection of cultural heritage and maintain Indigenous languages and traditional song cycles.

The project creates new forms of cultural expression for the people of the Barkly Region of the Northern Territory, connecting storytelling and song.

The songs featured on two collaborative albums will be launched at the Desert Harmony Festival in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory.
