The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the death of another Australian in Laos.

The 22 year old man, and his Dutch girlfriend were found dead in their hotel room.

DFAT has refused to say how the man died, but he’s the third Australian to die on holiday in the country in recent months.

Two Australians died in January while tubing down a river in Laos – a practice that involves lying in a rubber tube being towed by a speed boat.
