Unrest deepens in Tibet

The Year of the Dragon began violently for Tibetans in China’s Sichuan province last week when security troops used lethal force to suppress protests against Chinese rule.
It’s believed six people died in the clashes and some 60 were injured.
Today Chinese news reports have accused the Tibetan Government in exile of colluding with western governments to discredit China.
Beijing has refused to ease its hardline policy that has provoked an unprecedented wave of demonstrations for cultural and religous freedom for Tibetans.
