The Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard has certainly been feeling the heat over leadership of the Labor party in recent days.
But this evening she’ll be subjected to a grilling of a different kind.
Ms Gillard is sitting down to dinner at The Lodge with three gay couples — who’ll be trying to convince her to change her mind on the issue of gay marriage.
Eight months ago, the couples won the prize at the Midwinter Press Gallery Ball charity auction.
Anna Hipsley spoke with Steve Russell, one half of a gay couple from Julia Gillard’s electorate of Altona, who will be there.
Presenter: Anna Hipsley
