Pacific students to gain gender knowledge

A new specialised gender studies course hopes to arm students with the necessary skills to address gender related themes in both a Pacific and a global context.
Topics such as feminism and gender and development will be offered to Pacific and international students through this new course at the University of the South Pacific.
Heather Jarvis spoke to the co-ordinator, Dr. Priya Chattier, about why gender studies is such a relevant area of study for the Pacific.
