Solomons MP convicted on conversion charges

The Central Magistrates Court in Honiara has today convicted a member of parliament for conversion.
He is Mark Kemakeza, the MP for Gela in Central Province and the former Minister for Forestry.
Mr Kemakeza has also been acquitted of other charges of official corruption.
He has been refused bail and will appear in court again on February 28th for sentencing.
