Relief agencies in Fiji say more rain is is expected across the country this week and the worst may not be over for communites struggling to recover from floods.The main sugar growing areas of the country suffered massive flooding and landslides following heavy rain last week.There are now serious concerns about the outbreak of water bourne diseases in the areas affected.

Christopher Ho, the Acting Director General of the Fiji Red Cross told Clement Paligaru while the organisation is making progress with assesments and delivering relief to communities, its work is being hampered by the continuing bad weather.
