Surfing solidarity for the Solomon Islands

Sydney-based surf photographer Joel Coleman plans to send a shipping container of surfboards to the Solomon Islands early next year to assist with the development of a sustainable surfing industry which will benefit local communities.He’s put out a call for unused surfboards to be dropped at his gallery and expects a massive show of solidarity.

Three years ago he collected 200 boards for communities in Papua New Guinea.
