Women in Saipan take up self-defense classes

Concerns about the  rise of violent crime in Saipan, in the Northern Mariannas, have led local karate instructor Josephine Togawa to share her skills and experience with other women.

More than twenty women have already expressed interest in the training sessions to learn self-defense techniques.
