How to contribute to the program

Comments

On most days we have several stories on our On Air Highlights page open for comment. To join the conversation, look for the ‘your comment’ link at the bottom of a story. You’ll be asked to submit your name and email address in order to post your comment. Your email address will not be published. All comments are moderated by Radio Australia, which means your contribution will be checked before it is posted to the site. Comments must adhere to ABC’s Conditions of Use and the following house rules:

Do

• Express yourself. We want to hear what you think about the stories on our website.
• Play fair. Avoid language, which other users may consider defamatory, abusive, offensive, bullying or in violation of laws regarding harassment, discrimination or racial vilification.
• Provide links to other stories or websites that users will find appropriate and relevant to your comments.
• Stay on topic. Be relevant and add value to discussions. Off-topic contributions or comments where the topic has already been widely canvassed on the site may be deleted.

Don't

• Make comments that are false, misleading or harmful.
• Try to dominate discussion. Comments are intended to open a dialogue rather than close it down.
• Infringe intellectual property rights or copyright.
• Plug your organisation. Our users trust Radio Australia for its impartiality and freedom from commercial influence.
