Economic hard times in Singapore

In a week that saw G-20 leaders converge on London to discuss the global financial crisis – people around the world saw the impact of the global financial crisis gaining pace.
In Singapore, people have enjoyed economic growth for decades, but as the ABC’s South East Asia correspondent, Karen Percy, reports now the export-dependent city-state is facing a contraction of 10 per cent.
