Interview: R.E.D.

Posted on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010 in Audio, Interviews, Pacific Break competition

Rayven Rengulbai — from Palau trio R.E.D. — tells us about positivity and the importance of the island’s musicians being more connected to other artists in the Pacific.

Palau is a tiny nation known mostly for its tourism. But as Rayven explains, it’s important for musicians to show locals and visitors alike that there’s more to the island’s culture than a relaxing holiday. He says that his generation is trying to see the bigger picture, using music as a way to reach the rest of the Pacific and the world.
