Entries close on 5pm [AEST] on 3rd October 2011.
Your entry will be checked to make sure you adhere to the terms and conditions of the competition. We'll contact you to confirm receipt of your entry so make sure you contact details are accurate and up to date.
The winning entry will be announced in October and will play at Fest'Napuan in November 2011.
Who can enter?
We've received a lot of questions about which artists are eligible to enter Pacific Break — particularly with regard to recording and publishing contracts.
Pacific Break is dedicated to providing raw, undiscovered artists with an opportunity — this means that we want to hear from artists who do not have a commercial publishing or recording contract. That is: if you've never received payment for song-writing or recording, and you're the copyright owner of your music, you're good to go!
If you have a publishing arrangement where you've simply paid a studio or publishing house to record your music, you're still eligible to enter.
